The MTSS Team

The MTSS (Multi-tiered System of Support) Team is a general education function whose purpose is to collaborate, differentiate, and generate and monitor strategies and interventions to support students, teachers and families to ensure that each student has an equitable opportunity for success.

The Five Essential Components are:  

• Team-Driven Shared Leadership

• Data-Based Problem Solving and Decision-Making

• Family, School, and Community Partnering

• Layered Continuum of Supports

• Evidence-Based Practices
